I have been with Network since 1998. It is that year that I have accepted Jesus as my primary life provider. I moved to the US at the age of fifteen. Before I decided to finally settle in Washington state, I lived in California and Korea (US Army base in Seoul). Moving around took a toll due the mental stress of having to adjust to each new environment. I believe this experience has trained me to adjust to change and ability to make new friends quickly.

Today, together with my wife, Amanda we continue to raise our three beautiful kids: Megan, Carina and Brendan in Bothell, WA. My kids have helped me put life in perspective - That life can be looked at in many ways instead of stubbornly thinking that there is only one perspective; mine. It’s funny how we are so critical of our young ones and push them to “grow up” but essentially it is us adults who are the ones who need to do the growing up. There is never a dull moment with the family, we like to hang out, play in the park, pick blackberries, etc. In other times, I practice playing the guitar and hope to play with our worship team more frequently.

Features

  • I remember being young and going with my mom to church every Sunday. Although, it was a good thing to visit the church, the problem was that it was basically just a “visit”. I was there physically but my relationship with the Lord was superficial. I believed in Jesus but didn’t involve Him in everything that I do – He was not the center of my life. Most parents, myself included, take their kids to church and leave it to them to “figure” it out. The truth is, each young member of our church needs guidance every step of the way. The Network Youth ministry is a partnership with the parents and guardians of our youth to provide the kind of Godly guidance our kids need respective to whatever spiritual stage they are in. Now, I have been blessed with the opportunity to help lead this ministry and instill these values.

The topic of the study was "How to share the Gospel to others" So Pastor Dino started explaining how to share I started feeling a prompting of the Holy Spirit in my heart. Greatest influences in life...
My mom and dad were one of the greatest influences in life. They have instilled in me what it meant to be a family. Though rough times in life come, they will be overcome with much prayer and petition to God. Even though my mom claims that she is not religious, I believe she was and still is my prayer warrior.
God's miracle in my life...
My Dad was diagnosed as having a cancer of the blood. A prayer request was sent to all the Church members for a complete healing. Within the week another blood test was done on my dad and the doctors have found no sign of cancer. My dad asked me what I thought had happened and I clearly said with confidence, "It was a miracle"
